In House SAP HCM Consultant

Job Description

Ecolog is looking for an experienced in-house SAP HCM Specialist to assist in the optimization and further development of SAP HCM for our rapidly growing company.

Participate and/or lead in the design, development, implementation, and post-implementation optimization of current and/or new SAP HCM applications and modules.

Provide consultation and advice to Human Resource system users regarding business processes and management reports accessible through SAP applications.

Gather requirements and issues by interviewing clients in partnership with Business Area experts.

Develop and prepare requirements document (including time estimates on development/configuration, testing, documentation, and training).

Prepare and manage change management of Human Resources processes around system and support package updates and ensure they are accurately applied and tested on a timely basis.

Lead support package testing in functional area. Respond to SAP HCM help desk calls and provide solutions to clients' satisfaction including troubleshooting software problems and engaging external consultants when needed.

Analyze new business requirements and their impact on the production system.

Identify and design new business processes, custom developments including interface changes along with development resources.

Maintain communication with user groups through electronic bulletins, email, and other communication methods including leading key user and/or user meetings to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

Research and evaluate new functionality in SAP HCM and other software to improve system use and results.

Design and prepare training documentation to be used to train users in the SAP HCM system.

Conduct training sessions to user groups.

Create, maintain and improve assigned module work instructions to ensure system procedures are up to date.

Maintain and upgrade skills in relation to new technology.

HCM Reporting

• Business Process Design experience across all HCM modules noted above.

• Leadership, facilitation and business consulting experience

• HR Integration knowledge (Knowledge of SAP DMS, intranet systems a necessity)

• Ability to manage, support and direct consulting-teams

• Well-developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

• Have excellent organizing and project management skills.

• Be able to work as part of a team
