Job description summary:
-- The person shall ensure the successful execution of various software development activities at the
Lahore office and lead of a group of 20 - 30 software engineers.



Key Responsibilities:
-- Plan and manage software projects and team
-- Create time estimates, plan deliverables
-- Identify risks and uncertainties, create contingency plans
-- Maintain project management documentation
-- Coordinate engineers and feedback to other managers
-- Collaborate with technical architects and engineers to understand product requirements and ensure that work proceeds on spec
-- Conduct performance evaluation
-- Collate and communicate team reports
-- Manage scope creep and work to keep software product development focused on original scope
-- Take part in coordinating the investigation, resolution and follow through of important/urgent issues
-- Implement/Monitor quality processes
-- Arrange/develop and provide training to engineers and participate in recruitment
-- Keep current on new technologies

Skills Required:
-- Experience of software product development, preferably embedded applications or C/C++ based
applications and protocols development.
-- Experience in managing software development team.
-- Experience in full project life cycles from concept to delivery.
-- The ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-- Demonstrated leadership capacity with strong team work and interpersonal skills.
-- Some understanding of wireless communication technologies.
-- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
-- Organized, cooperative and hard working.

Qualifications: Advanced engineering degrees in reputable universities

Skills

Essential Requirements:
-- Experience in Software Product Development
-- Experience of Managing about 20 (or more) Software Engineers

-- Preferred: Experience of embedded applications development OR C/C++ based applications/protocols development preferred (but not required)
--Minimum Experience: 6 - 10 years
