Senior Quantity Surveyor

*Reporting to the Cost Manager
*Lead a small teal of Quantity Surveyors
*Preparation and maintenance of estimates, budgets, cost report and cashflows
*Review and comment on bids and contract award recommendation reports
*Estimating of value engineering options and lifecycle costs
*Establishment and maintenance of a program cost benchmarking database
*Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports and cashflows
*Coordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors
*Preparation of monthly and weekly reports

Skills

*MRICS in related subject or equivalent
*Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities
*Experience in conceptual estimating, cost planing, financial accounting, expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting
*Ability effectively monirot and analyze cost, identify trends and recommend corrective actions
*Experienced user of MS Office, advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager
*Report writing skills and advantage
*Previous experience in the Middle East an advantage
*Fluent English both written and spoken
