Opportunity
Our client is a growing Ka‐Band satellite operator and broadband services company. They seek an experienced account manager to manage and grow business mainly within Turkey and also the Greek Islands.
Skills
The Role
• Carry and achieve a significant personal sales target;
• Sell wholesale data communications and VSAT service communications services to telecoms companies, ISPs and service providers;
• Train, lead and work closely with channel partners to maximise their performance to ensure continued revenue growth and customer retention;
• Ensure that the channels for which you are responsible work effectively with the overall Sales, Marketing and Operations functions within the business;
Skills required
• Demonstrable track record of selling Satellite (VSAT) communications services to telecoms companies, ISPs and service providers;
• A strong grasp of telecommunications technology;
• Ability to create winning bid proposals, plan and conduct contract negotiations and present in a compelling manner;
• Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and customers;
• English must be spoken fluently, other language skills advantageous;
Desirable
• Additional retail sales experience to enterprise, government and telecoms sectors is also desirable;
• Ability to understand and explain the technology behind Satellite telecommunications services, to analyse competitor offerings and position our client’s capability successfully against them.
