Sales Manager – Automotive and Electrical Products
Petrochemical Conversion Company

This position is responsible for managing the sales and marketing activities for the Saudi Arabia Conversion Projects Automotive and Electrical plants, gathering market data, and sharing intelligence and information throughout the product line and company as appropriate. The successful candidate supervises sales representatives to cover assigned territory, develops and recommends sales objectives and prepares sales forecasts, develops budgets and manages department expenses, and must be able to develop and maintain a highly effective and motivated sales force. This position requires negotiation with business management on both supplies and pricing and serves as the key contact to assure that product disposition is not sub-optimized. In addition, this position participates in sales planning, forecasting, and customer credit meetings.

Some specific job duties are as follows:

o Managing sales development plans for Automotive and Electrical
o Coordinating market analysis efforts for Automotive and Electrical
o Developing relationships with Aramco and understanding Electrical products approval process
o Developing relationships with Sabic and understating Electrical products approval process
o Leading the efforts for Automotive plant repurpose applications
o Coordinating Electrical plant product certifications with SASO, CE, and UL
o Providing input to site procurement for raw material selection

Skills

Qualifications
Bachelors degree is required; prefer technical undergraduate degree in an Engineering, Chemistry/related field. Candidates with a MBA and a technical undergraduate degree will be given high consideration. Previous sales and marketing experience in automotive and/or electrical products is required. Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and prior sales supervisory experience is preferred. Overnight travel is required.
