Desert Adventures is part of Kuoni Group’s Destination Management division, and it employs over 245 dedicated and multilingual staff from 30 different nationalities servicing thousands of happy travelers daily.We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Yielding Manager based in Dubai.


General Overview
• The primary purpose of this position is ownership for inventory and yield management to generate additional revenue for the company on existing business
• The incumbent is responsible for inventory and yield management in the pre-sale and post-sale process, which includes teaming with reservations/product/sales/excursions/operations and contracting professionals on all assigned accounts to drive additional
• The incumbent will ensure proposal competitiveness, client satisfaction and business health and differentiation through deal or campaign performance optimization; develop innovative alternatives to existing deals, work processes or campaigns; and communicate with partners and appropriate internal departments on these initiatives

Tasks
• Conducts daily verification of data relating to yielding activities: occupancy rate, special offers, re-negotiations, availability etc., in order to establish, forecast and adjust the pricing policy and number of available rooms, segment by segment
• Conduct analysis related to creative and offer optimization
• Make business decisions based on data analysis and communicate results to senior management
• Work with internal teams to ensure that optimization decisions are implemented in a timely and accurate manner
• Responsible for pricing, yield management, margins and analytical guidance
• Serves as primary point of contact on issues regarding inventory and yield management
• Effectively optimizes campaign performance by recommending adjustments to inventory and creative components of the campaign
• Track and analyse usage trends
• Deliver on all role specific accountability metrics and goals
• Manage inventory and yield through the pre and post-sale processes using various third-party ad servers and systems

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (finance or marketing) in business or mathematics preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of account management, business analysis or selling experience in internet advertising sales
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills; excellent analytical skills; results and detail oriented; accountable; strong work ethic; strong team player; solid negotiation skills; proactive self-starter; creative/strategic thinker who is process oriented and has the ability to multi-task; outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Power Point systems. Some technical knowledge preferred

Please note preference will be given to candidates with a background in the tourism, hospitality or aviation industry
