The role carries with it the responsibility for assuring that project-specific quality programs are in place that meet the client quality expectations and requirements
Coordination of quality audits/reviews
Identification and leveraging of lessons learned for continuous improvement across the organization
Performance management of the Quality Management System
Develop/maintain the overall Quality Management Plan
Provide guidance and support to project teams on criticality assessments and development of risk-based quality plans
Conduct analysis to identify root-causes of quality problems Develop organisational capability in the area of quality mangement
Work closely with the Engineering and Construction Leads to assure project QMS requirements across the design, procurement, fabrication, construction and handover activities are clearly stated and systems are in place to verify compliance
Provide guidance and support to project teams on qualification of suppliers and contractors
Establish/clarify quality expectations with contractors as required and assurance that interfaces are being effectively managed
Coordinate reviews and audits of supplier/contractor's quality management systems and implementation of 'zero' defect programs
Assure that the Contractor design & construction control process is comprehensive and learning is being fed back
Provide guidance / support to project teams in the development and implementation of plans for inspection, testing, quality control/assurance and certification acceptance for handover
Assure that project teams have established a quality management organisation with clear roles & responsibilities identified and acted on.
The ideal candidate should have supervised/managed team of multi-disciplined inspectors.
S/he will act as a cordinator between clients, inspectors and contractors.
S/he will prepare weekly/monthly reports for managment and clients alike
S/he should have hands on experience in inspection pertaining to EP installation on petrochemical environment.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 a distinct advantage
Certified Lead Auditor qualification required
S/he must be familiar with welding processes, AWS certification..
10 - 15 years of experience in the QA/QC field with experience on oil & gas, petrochemical projects of which is at least 8-10 years shall be as QA / QC Manager.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with clients and internal management on the project QAQC requirements and deliverables
Must have a good command of the english language both verbal and written
Must be a team player with strong organisational skills
Strong management skills and have the ability to motivate others
Must have strong IT litracy and familiarity with SAP is a destinct advantage
Must be available immediately for quick mobilisation
