QA Engineer

Our client, is a leading community website offers classifieds and forums is currently seeking to recruit QA Engineer reporting to the Tech Team Lead You will be working in small efficient close working team. The incumbent must have a desire to learn new things and will be involved with interacting directly with the sales and programming teams and aide in testing and assuring that the highest quality and standards are maintained for all our projects. The selected candidate will be involved in all company's projects moving forward and have a huge impact in the company's future.Responsibilities Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a Quality Assurance plan for the company''s website Agreeing standards and defying quality procedures in conjunction with other QA team members Develop deep understanding of all the current functions of the company's website and development and release processes Create and maintain databases of known test defects Design develop automated testing tools Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance

Skills

Desired skills and experience Strong background in QA work related to websites and new-media Understanding of manual and automated testing Solid understanding of different internet browsers and appreciation for different methods of cross-browser tests General understanding of core internet technologies including HTMLCSS and scripting languages (PHP, Javascript, etc) General understanding of how operating systems work (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX etc) Strong interest in web design, usability and user experience Ability to accomplish timely delivery of projects in a fast paced tight deadline environment High degree of problem solving skill and sound judgment a must Flexibility when incorporating suggestions and critiques Must be a very driven, curious and creative individual Strong attention to detail, excellent organization and communication skills Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
