Project Manager (for Africa)

The Project Manager Civil Engineer will perform all or some of the following Job description:
• Assist in the preparation of proposals based on project assignments received from the Vice President
• Develop a project task list to define the scope of work and participating in presentations to clients
• Understand the requirements of the contract and assigning project tasks, budgets and schedules to design team members
• Provide technical guidance and assist in the development of junior level staff
• Verify the accuracy and quality of all technical work
• Monitor project tasks to maintain budget, schedule and scope of work
• Prepare written reports and correspondence to client.
Skills
• 15 years of experience in engineering
• Design experience should include layout, geometry, grading, sediment and erosion control, and utilities (water, sewer, storm drains)
• Experience working on federal state and local development projects
• Proficient use of MS Office software
• Ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to effectively manage projects
• Understand CAD operations
• Job knowledge, communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision making, judgment and problem solving skills.
