Project Analyst - Ambulatory (Health Informatics/Information Technology)

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), a private, not-for-profit, chartered organization, is building an all-digital academic medical center on the Education City campus in Doha, Qatar. This facility, known as Sidra Medical and Research Center, will offer the latest state of the art technology and equipment, and will meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education, and biomedical research. Sidra will provide specialty care for women and children and a sophisticated clinical and translational research program. It will also serve as a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York. This premier medical center requires highlyexperienced healthcare, planning and information management specialists to effectively plan and implement solutions for hospital commissioning and opening.
The Project Analyst is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of defined outcomes of the project within the agreed timeframes, budget, quality and resources to deliver the organizations objectives. The involves undertaking activities as agreed within the project plan, utilizing Sidra’s Information Management Project Management Methodologies, and delivering services that meet the customer needs, as specified in the scope of assignment for the role.
Scope of Assignment:
Assisting clinical and support services in analyzing and developing clinical business requirements and specifications for the Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician Adoption components of clinical information based solutions.
Analyzing the clinical information system vendor solution for Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician components and co-coordinating the development of resolutions for solution gaps.
Co-coordinating and supporting clinical and support services in the implementation planning, project management and implementation for the Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician Adoption component of the clinical information system program.
Co-coordinating and supporting clinical and support services to complete E Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician process mapping, analysis and issue resolution as part of the clinical information system program
Participating in the clinical transformation governance groups as allocated and delivering on allocated assignments
Coordinating and facilitating Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician Adoption component of the clinical information systems design, build and test activities as part of the clinical information system program implementation.
Assisting in activation planning and implementation of the Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician Adoption component of the clinical information system for the hospital.
Assisting in the planning of operational services for the clinical informatics unit with specific focus on Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician Adoption component areas.
Monitoring the compliance of the Ambulatory, Patient Portal and Physician component of the clinical information system to data and quality standards as determined by the enterprise architecture.
Skills
Bachelor Degree in Health (focus on Ambulatory Care/Women's and Children's Health, Information Management or Information Technology), Master's Degree Preferred
Demonstrated extensive health care patient management /administrative experience in Ambulatory Care
Understanding and application of project management methodologies
Demonstrated excellent customer service, communication skills and collaboration with customers to deliver high quality outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in integrating IT into business environment
Demonstrated sound organizational, analytical and conceptual skills, and the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, listening, negotiation and facilitation skills
Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to be flexible and undertake a variety of roles within and across projects
Education
Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
