Production Planning Analyst - Egypt

We invite high calibre to apply for the following position:

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with vendors and production planning team to ensure PO production schedule and production status information are up to date and accurate
- Review weekly production plan to ensure vendors have sufficient capacity available for timely production according to PO cargo receipt date
- Maintain constant communication with vendors via email or telephone to review factory production schedule and work progress
- Analyze and identify problems in production schedule plan. Advise vendors on what needs to be corrected in weekly production plan.
- Recommend or work with vendors to develop solutions to address potential shipment delays
- Ensure vendors order materials, submit samples and complete testing on time for bulk production
- Weekly factory visit to validate information accuracy provided by vendors
- Alert production planning and merchandising teams of any production issues or potential shipment delays that may arise
- Working Locations: Cairo, Alexandria & Port Said

Skills

- At least 5 years experience in a similar capacity and experience working in garment industry
- Familiar with garment manufacturing process
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Good command in oral and written English. Able to communicate with all levels including factory, production planning and merchandising teams.
- Good computer knowledge in email & MS applications
- Good command in MS Excel
