Job description :
Installation, alignment, testing, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as centrifugal horizontal & vertical low pressure pumps, metallic and non metallic pumps, single stage and multi stage high pressure pumps (upto 75 bar), reciprocating pumps, mechanical seals, filtration equipment, pressure vessels and other rotating equipment like blowers, compressors, small turbines, etc

Installation of PVC pipes, FRP pipes and its supports etc.

Take care of day to day monitoring and maintenance works including breakdown maintenance of above mentioned equipment.

Perform planning and do the preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance and keep its record.

Job requirement :
Familiar with the use of Industrial tools and tackles including alignment dial gauges, torque wrench, tacho meter, vibration instrument, temperature gauge instrument etc.

Knowledge on low voltage system including its safety precautions.

Knowledge of computer with MS office required for maintaining daily activities and reporting.

Able to read, understand, interpret and implement work based on rough sketches, engineering drawings, specifications, O&M manuals in English language.

Should be aware of and practice all safety precautions at work.

Desired requirement :
Knowledge on pump operating principles, pump selection parameters (shut-off head, minimum re-circulation, vibration, bearing temperature, efficiencies etc).

Knowledge on SS316, Duplex SS welding, Electrical and Instrumentation will be added advantage.

Skills

Experience :
Minimum 5 years experience as Pump Technician in any medium size RO desalination plant, process industry or power plant or fertilizer plant or with any high pressure pump manufacturer.

Hands on experience in alignment of Pumps (including reverse alignment) dismantling and assembly of pumps.

Status : Single

Annual vacation : Yearly 30 days vacation after completion of 11 months of service and completion of probation period including air ticket to candidates home city.

Medical facility : Medical Insurance per Saudi Government Policy.

Working hours : 6 days x 8 hours a week in day shift.
When required, candidate should come on other shifts for duty.

Weekly Holiday : Friday.
When required, candidate should come on Friday for duty and take other day off.

Salary package : Basic, housing allowance (25% of basic), transportation allowance (10% of basic).

Where company provides the accommodation and transportation, the above allowances will not be applicable.

Work location : Any where in or outskirts of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

When required the location will be changed based on project requirement.

Probation period : 3 months

Note:
though Saudis are preferred other nationalities with suitable qualification may also apply.
