Material Estimation Engineer
IMCO Engineering & Construction Company

To Coordinate and undertake the review of long lead equipments and major procurement packages for a given tender and to assist in the pricing process of these packages.

Review of tender documents related to long lead equipments & major procurement package to ensure all systems and components are included and to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.

To identify areas requiring more information to ensure the company is positioned to win and secure bids.

To coordinate and undertake the preparation of RFQ including specification documents to submit to vendors / suppliers for quotations of cost / price of equipment / packages and evaluate same against tender specifications to inlude in final tender documentation

To prepare price comparison sheets for all offers from vendors / suppliers and to recommend one of them.

To thoroughly review estimates and costs with the projects services and support division manager prior to submitting to PDD.

To communicate efficiently and effectively with both the direct manager and estimation division members as required to bring clarify to details of new packages in hand for pricing.

To prepare and maintain a directory of vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors.

To build relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs and specifications.
