-Contributes to the development and growth of the Group through multifaceted roles
-Works closely with management and the sales team to define the growth objectives of the organization
-Plans marketing strategies and budgets in order to attain the set goal
-Represent the ultimate custodian of the AWI brand & positioning
1. Sets AWI marketing strategy for all the titles the group carries
2. Defines and proposes strategy related roadmap for all products
3.Prepare & obtain approval for all products & services Business plans
4.Prepare & propose group marketing budget in order to deliver the approved strategy & P&S roadmap
5.Sets the Marketing’s Division goals, objectives, methods and procedures to attain such goals.
6.Instigates corporate communication (internal & external) rules & regulations
7.Develops the Marketing department’s annual budget
8.Based on the approved strategy & products & services
roadmap, Coordinate with the sales division the needed activities to enhance and increase sales
9.Develops and recommends action plans in order to optimize market share and profitability of existing or new product lines.
10.Develops pricing plans based on analysis of competitive activity, market conditions, marketing plans
11.Coordinates with head of sales the development of commission scheme for the sales employees.
12.Ensures that the Marketing’s operations are in compliance with the laws and regulations of countries of operation and with industry standards.
13.Ensures that marketing activities are in line with the brand book of licensed titles in coordination with operations Division
14.Periodically reviews and checks the working methods against pre-set standards and recommends improvements.
15.In Coordination with head of sales establishes Distribution & circulation strategies & routes in order to achieve optimum distribution and retail exposure of products.
16.Sets & audits controls for the optimal implementation of Circulation and distribution strategy
17.Provides direction and supervision in order to minimize costs.
18.Determines and evaluates all factors that could affect the market planning, such as economic climate, employment situation, competitive atmosphere, sales trend and legislative actions.
19.Regularly visits sales locations and sales personnel in order to remain abreast of conditions affecting the Marketing’s operational capacities.
20.Evaluates the performance of all subordinates and seeks improvement in their capabilities.
21.Reviews and approves marketing Employees’ Performance Evaluations, proposed salary increments & bonuses
22.Follows-up and maintains relationships with Governmental bodies, customers and suppliers.
23.Optimize client relation which includes, satisfaction, development, events
24.Co-ordinates with the head of sales to identify slow and non-moving items that need additional marketing and promotional efforts.
Minimum 10 years of experience
Bachelor degree in Marketing or related
MBA is a plus
Fluent in Arabic & English
25.Periodically reviews and approves the pricing list of the various products for the various Marketing locations, and amend or adjust based on the market information and competitors price
