Manager Job Evaluation, Policies and Procedures

The Manager Job Evaluation, Policies & Procedures is responsible for managing the job evaluation process and policies for the whole of Qatar Airways Group of Companies including Outstations using HAY methodology. Provide advice and guidance to the line Managers on the use of job descriptions and its use as a tool for performance appraisal and training. Oversee the generation of Organizational charts.

Key accountabilities include; Managing the job evaluation process through subordinates, ensuring a robust systematic process is in place for all roles within the QR Group. Accountable for using HAY Methodology measuring, evaluating, controlling and classifying jobs thereby establishing the basis for ranking jobs across the Board. Responsible to effectively conduct analysis to support job ranking through constant liaison with the Line Manager, verifying written data to actual size of the job. Identify trends and changes in employment practices and legislation, in order to manage, formulate and develop key HR policies in line with local law & regulations creating a consistent approach, taking legal advice where necessary. Participate in the development of HR strategy and vision, in order to contribute to the realization of objectives of the Compensation field of organization. Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

Skills

To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelors Degree from a recognized university. A Post Graduate degree in Psychology/Personal Management preferred. CIPD/Aviation or a related qualification will be an advantage. Min 5 years of job-related experience (required). 10 years overall HR experience including HAY awareness/experience. Proven ability to work under pressure to defined time scales and budget. Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business. Strong people management skills.
