Instrumentation Technician/Supervisor

Job description :
Installation, testing, trouble shooting, calibration, repair of Instrumentation such as paddle wheel flow meters, magnetic flow meters, mechanical flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters, conductivity meters, pH meter, ORP meter, level instruments, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pneumatic valves, pneumatic terminal box, pneumatic tubing, electrical relays, PLC device, I/O cards, HMI devices, communication devices.

Take care of day to day monitoring and maintenance works including breakdown maintenance of above mentioned equipment and instruments.

Perform planning and do the preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance and keep its record.

Job requirement :
Familiar with the use of Industry standard tools and tackles such as ammeter, volt meters, clamp meter, tacho meter, vibration instrument, temperature gauge instrument, multi meters, continuity test devices, network cable test device etc.

Knowledge of computer with MS office required for maintaining daily activities and reporting.

Able to read, understand, interpret and implement work based on rough sketches, engineering drawings (single line, schematic drawings, ladder diagrams), specifications, O&M manuals in English language.

Should be aware of and practice all safety precautions at work.

Desired requirement :
Knowledge of PLC programming and its upload and download, motor starters (soft starter, VFD) etc. will be added advantage.

Knowledge on low voltage system including its safety precautions and works.

Knowledge of electrical equipment like A/C, fans, compressor, and other electrical equipment like motors, actuated valves, will be added advantage.

Skills

Experience :
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Instrument Technician or service technician in any medium size RO desalination plant, process industry or power plant.
• Hands on experience in trouble shooting, repair, installation of electrical equipment.

Status : Single

Annual vacation : Yearly 30 days vacation after completion of 11 months of service and completion of probation period including air ticket to candidates home city.

Medical facility : Medical Insurance per Saudi Government Policy.

Working hours : 6 days x 8 hours a week in day shift.
When required, candidate should come on other shifts for duty.

Weekly Holiday : Friday.
When required, candidate should come on Friday for duty and take other day off.

Salary package : Basic, housing allowance (25% of basic), transportation allowance (10% of basic).

Where company provides the accommodation and transportation, the above allowances will not be applicable.

Work location : Any where in or outskirts of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

When required the location will be changed based on project requirement.

Probation period : 3 months

Note:
though Saudis are preferred other nationalities with suitable qualification may also apply.
