To analyze current gaps, develop, implement and monitor the health, safety and environment (HSE) procedures for all functions of Engineering Management department ensuring compliance with local and international standards, legislations, guidelines, industry best practices et

Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area :


Assume full responsibility in developing and executing HSE Policies and Procedures and implementing them for Engineering Management department complying with local, national, international and corporate standards and industry best practices

Assist and guide various functions of EM to comply with the periodic HSE assessment, audits and/or inspections as required by the standards and regulatory authority guidelines

Develop and maintain an awareness of controlling the environmental impact due to business operations and ensure its control and reduction according to best practices

Liaise with and provide support and guidance to all the relevant stakeholders (HSE Committees, internal departments, external contractors etc.) to consistently meet or exceed the HSE performance objectives and indicators

Active member of TECOM HSE Committee with the main objective to ensure that TECOM workplaces are safe with safe work practices performed by all stakeholders of EM.

Liaise constantly with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with the legislations, rules, regulations, guidelines and technical bulletins and keep up to date records for reference

Develop and maintain an awareness of health & safety hazards and risks of the business operations to the workforce, visitors and contactors

Prepare HSE training matrix in coordination with HC and monitor HSE training progress, communicate shortcomings to management and ensure competent workforce

 Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines

Education

 OSHA Certificates or Other HSE Certifications/Diploma/Degree
