Group Treasury Manager

To contribute towards formulation of strategy, annual business plans, budgets, policies and procedures of one’s department, to support divisional and organizational business strategy. Establish risk protocols and procedures to manage risks in treasury and investment to protect the company from short and long term market risks; Oversee implementation of procedures and controls in the Treasury section. Ensure that all entries in the financial systems are in compliance with the set policies, procedures, management and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains relationships with major financial institution to manage the cost of funds by sourcing low cost borrowings for business operations

Collaborates on monthly closing of entries and provisioning for Bank Interest

Monitors working capital funds on day to day basis and obtain favorable rating for the raising debt

Implements cash management at all locations, project Cash Flow of the Company and monitor the same on a regular basis

Investment

Invests in different asset classes, through different instruments, e.g., portfolio, direct investments in order to manage risk and maximize rewards over a long timeframe.

Ensures compliance to internal control process for investments
Monitors performance of direct reportees and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback

Skills

Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting / Business from a recognized university, or a professional qualifications such as CA/CPA

Preferably Arabic Speaker

10 -12 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a similar position

Demonstrates competence in visioning, strategy and planning, process excellence

Driven by results and shows strong customer orientation

Ability to engage in critical decision-making and risk management
