To plan, secure and optimally utilize the company’s financial resources in order to achieve the business short, medium and long-term financial objectives. To develop and implement budget, cost accounting and the general accounting systems. To control the legal, insurance, banking and fiscal issues.
Carry-Out the company financial planning through short and long term budgeting and forecasting to optimize profits and funds utilization. Evaluation of business investments and improvements.
Develop and implement the best ways of working to establish financial control in order to safeguard the company’s assets and measures progress against the plan.
Optimise the working capital management and utilization in order to assist in the achievement of the business’ short-term, medium and long term objectives.
Secure and develop advantageous banking or alternative funding facility in order to minimize financing costs and the best short and long term funding facility.
Provide financial advice and support to management in order to take an informed business decisions.
Prepare regular monthly financial statements, in line with Divisional and Group requirements, on time in order to show the company’s financial position versus the plan.
Provide the required financial information along with the supporting documents to the external auditors in order to produce the company audited financial statements on time.
Implement Company policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of discipline and organization across the department.
Attract, develop and retain the right employee in the department in order to achieve departmental and business objectives.
Honors degree (post graduate) in accounting
Membership to a professional accounting institute
High level knowledge of windows based application especially excel
High level knowledge and previous experience of an ERP environment
Communications and presentation skills
High level knowledge of IFRS / SOCPA
At least 10 years experience 5 of which in a Financial Management position in a manufacturing company
