Our client, develops and provides technology solutions for the sustainable use of Earth's natural resources is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic Customer Support Engineer(Senior Specialist) Sulphuric Acid Technology in the Middle East A competence needs to be developed to ensure company's customer service and technical support capabilities in Sulphuric Acid technologies in the Middle-East. The Middle East is a new and rapidly growing market area for our clients services and after sales. It offers very promising growing opportunities in sulphuric acid technology, both in plant revamps as well as new plant projects. To maximize our share in these growing markets, a hands-on competence and support is required to establish local, easily accessible, fast reacting technical support. With this competence, Our client can reinforce its position in the Middle-East services markets by be able to offer locally - Technical Support and troubleshooting - Participation to prepare technical commercial proposals - Plant Audits and Plant Equipment inspections - On-site Operational Support - Technical Support and troubleshooting Location of the position shall be in the Middle-East (Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Bahrain). The main purpose of the competence is services support but can be used in commissioning and start-up of the new projects too. Occasionally this can be used even outside of the Middle-East in the other market areas. The purpose of the competence is to outcome - Regular customer visits - Enable to give customers our recommendations of new technology, up-grades, etc. - To do plant audits and plant equipment inspections including measurements, evaluations, reports, etc. - To support company's site services and services projects as a technology expert - Be a first point technical support for the customers in troubleshooting and plant operation as well as process related questions - Customer visits and feedback to technology centersSPCs.
The expectations of a suitable candidate are- Customer oriented mindset with excellent communication skills - Good analytical skills, ability to work and organize independently and in team - Ability to write and express complex ideas, instructions and procedures - Ability to prioritize and progress many tasks in parallel - Good analytical skills for systematic troubleshooting - Ability to prepare a solutions for customers problems - Willingness to travel - Good knowledge of English. Other languages such as Arabic is welcomed. Qualifications of a suitable candidate- Engineering or technical background (process, chemical, metallurgy, plant operation) - Strong plant operation background and knowledge of the industrial plants - Understanding of Sulphuric Acid process and plant equipment - Good understanding of plant safety standards, requirements and procedures - The Middle-East Gulf experience will be an advance - IT skills (MS-office, Lotus Notes, SAP PM, CMMS, MS Project) is advantage
