BusinessObjects technology. We have a European office in Barcelona, Spain and Middle East offices in Dubai, UAE and Doha, Qatar. From these three locations we serve our primarily EMEA customer base. Clariba develops best practice BI solutions for dashboards, reporting and analysis, providing our customers with clarity and actionable insight to improve their business performance.

Our customers in the Middle East are leaders in the telecommunication, education, manufacturing, banking and public sectors. By working closely with business leaders and IT teams, Clariba turns vital data from ERP, CRM and other transactional systems into actionable insight for all levels of the organization.

The successful applicants will join our Middle East BI Team as Business Intelligence Analysts (based in either Qatar or Dubai) and will actively participate in the design, development and support of challenging BI projects including:

• SAP Business Objects developments
• ETL developments
• Database & Data Warehouse developments
• Investigation of new technologies such as HANA, mobility solutions, SAP BI4 platform and more
• Microsoft SQL Server Analytics development

Skills

We are looking for the following:

Technical Skills
• High level of PL/SQL, SQL and data modeling is required
• Experience with a BI tool (i.e. SAP Business Objects) is desirable
• Experience with ETL tools (SAP Data Services or Informatica PowerCenter) is desirable
• One to two years of experience in a similar technical BI role

Competencies
• Customer facing profile with good communication & presentation skills
• Fluent English both written and spoken is required
• Fluent in Arabic both written and spoken is desirable
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to customer milestones, deadlines and service levels
• Ability to multi-task with a variety of customers and projects
• Cooperative attitude towards team collaborations and willingness to support coworkers with difficult projects or tight timelines
• Autonomous thinking and proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions
• Commitment to open, transparent and frequent communication with customers, manager and team
• Available for travel within Middle East
• Interest and ability to work in a multicultural environment and integrate with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures

Education
• University Level Degree (preferred in Engineering or IT) / Masters in Information Technology

Other Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport from a European Union country
