Bitumen Trading Manager
•Monitoring world markets movement and following the financial news; collating data on bitumen assets; conducting trades by participating in local and global selling of Bitumen to maximize company commercial revenue.
•Maintain and develop relationships across the different oil markets and build new relationships with clients and brokers specifically in Bitumen market.
•Provides effective relationship management with both local and global counterparties by ensuring that the company gets the most competitive bitumen sales deals.
•Prepares registration packages to global counterparts, ensuring the company is able to trade with these counterparts.
•Perform various forms of business, financial analysis and complies reports providing critical information for decision making.
•Constant engagement with other decision makers of the company across trading and sales deals, both written and verbal, as a means to identify agreeing prices and trading opportunities.
•Provides input to the identification of business performance risk and share the same with decision makers.
•Responsible for managing risk through the use of various hedging strategies including derivatives (futures and options) that are based on those physical commodities.
•Responsible for sales transaction processing and documentation support of daily trades.
•Maintains the integrity of all sales transactions by analyzing agreements for compliance with regulations, federal and local legislation and contract terms.
•Provide necessary input to Bitumen operations, credit and finance regarding deals done.
•Responsible for financial evaluation of Bitumen sales deals including storage and transportation of agreed deals.
•Performs market research (both supply and demand) that provides the Company with required information for developing short- and long-term strategic marketing plans covering marketing and to some extent, wholesale product delivery to clients.
•Contribute to marketing of Bitumen to optimize revenue.
•Initiate contacts and propose creative solutions and deal structures. Utilize superior negotiation skills to close contracts that enhance the business unit’s ability to profitable manage the deal.
•Min 5 years experience in the bitumen trading industry within a well known global oil and/or petrochemical organization.
•Experience in global Bitumen market trading with demonstrated knowledge of global market opportunities.
•Operations experience and good understanding of Refining, Logistics, Trading, Risk Management and Commercial activities of an Oil company.
•Advance understanding of oil and gas industry dynamics andworld market.
•Highly motivated, creative, results-driven, accountable individual who performs in ahigh stress, multi-tasking environment.
•Demonstrated analytical skills.

•Attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
Degree in business, finance, accounting or economics. Master degree is an advantage.
