Our Client is one of the world's largest hotel and leisure companies. With regional head quarters in Dubai, the Africa & Middle East Development team is seeking a high caliber administrative assistant/coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, communicate effectively via e-mail, by phone and in person and work across multiple countries, time zones and cultures.
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Acquisitions & Development AFME, with support provided to the African and Middle East Development team and the wider EAME Development group.
The position involves:
• Full PA and secretarial assistance to the Vice President, including organizing all travel requirements, reservations, calendar management, setting and confirming appointments, preparing expense reports, and screening phone calls.
• Administration involvement in the Development process, including screening and requesting information from initial leads, drafting Letters of Interest, Confidentiality Agreements, Letters of Intent and Term Sheets, requesting and coordinating reviews and budgets from internal departments, and assisting in the preparation of Management Agreements. Tracking of the development process and timeline with follow ups as required. Preparing presentation and pitch material when requested for proposals.
• Organization of our Client’s participation at Hotel Investment Conferences in the Middle East and Africa, including registration, meeting sponsorship requirements, overseeing stand design and build, hotel and transportation bookings, and coordinating meetings, interviews and the master schedule.
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of three years in a similar role.
• Experience in the hospitality industry would be advantageous
• A positive, can do attitude.
• The ability to prioritize in a busy environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Perfect written and spoken English, this role works with C level people within the company, an excellent communication is a must.
