ASSISTANT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - MULTI-PRODUCTS

•Responsible to accomplish the acquisition targets for Liability payroll and cross-sell Assets viz. Cards, Loans & Mortgages, and Insurance & Investment products.
•Responsible for overall performance of corporate relationship sales team to achieve sales, service and administrative goals. To drive and deliver exceptional retail business performance through powerful leadership of BAW relationship sales teams.
•Manage and expand business relationships with existing BAW corporate relationships to market BAW product proposition through BAW relationship sales teams.
•Close business with new corporate in market place to increase BAW product proposition market share and contribution to overall Consumer Bank contribution.
•Leverage the existing Barclays Bank Corporate Banking relationships and market the BAW product proposition to them in close coordination with CB Relationship Managers.
•Effectively market the BAW product proposition to ensure enhancement of brand and customer service.
•Identify and list new companies & industry segments to expand the base of corporate segment to market BAW product proposition.
•Deliver exceptional sales and service performance and work as a team, for achieving all business targets.

•Sales Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed all sales and performance targets, reviewed weekly/ monthly and quarterly with agreed action plans, Maintain an on-going list of customers in the pipe-line with clear products being sold, Establish and develop sales opportunities to meet the client’s needs.
•Solicit BAW business: Make effective & professional sales presentations to corporate senior management - influencers & decision makers - to market BAW product proposition to maximize share and penetration into Target Market listed companies, focusing on customer needs and implementing acquisition actions for them.
•Manage and deepen relationship: Manage existing major account relationships to ensure penetration and deepen the relationship for Liability payroll solutions and cross-sell opportunities through execution of an effective sales process.
•Leverage Corporate Banking Relationships: Work in close coordination with CB Relationship Managers to leverage the existing Barclays Bank relationship and market BAW proposition to strengthen business relationship with existing relationships
•New Company Listings: Identify and propose for listing of new companies & industry segments for enhancing the business performance
•Customer Service to BAW relationships: Hands on relationship management to ensure effective and timely delivery of bank’s products & services through proactive interaction across the bank to attain desired levels of customer satisfaction.
•Sales Related Administration: To effectively co-ordinate all sales related administration and ensure accurate completion of relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
•Adherence to processes: Ensure adherence of all bank’s prescribed processes, standard operating procedures and central bank local requirements.
•Self Developmental Programs: Pursue your own development to increase personal effectiveness, acknowledging strengths and areas for development

• To effectively co-ordinate all sales related administration to ensure accurate completion of relevant paperwork in a timely manner
•Ensure adherence to compliance Sales Standards and Operational processes and procedures including Money Laundering, Know your Customer and Data Protection.
•Demonstrating diligence to service the customers in a fair and acceptable manner by adhering to group “Treating Customers Fairly” principles.
•Ensure enrolling yourself in training programs for product and service to maintain high levels of awareness on the various initiatives in the bank.
•General oversight responsibility over day-to-day office management/administration.
•Responsibility for reporting/escalating any serious risks or breach of rules.

Essential Experience:

•3-6 years banking experience, minimum 2 years in UAE market.
•Degree qualified
•Experience of driving out new business opportunities to maximize income and lead generation.

Knowledge:

•Good understanding of personal banking products within allocated sales channel;
•Good understanding of market dynamics including demographic factors, competitor products and services;
•Good understanding and working knowledge of personal banking and related regulations.

Preferred:
•Similar role in competition within UAE market.
•Working knowledge of technical support systems;
•Ability to communicate in local language - spelling, reading and writing.
